PSC Self-Assessment Mobile App

PSC faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to use the college’s new mobile app to easily complete their daily health screening assessments. As a reminder, this screening is a required part of the Smitty Safety and Civility Pledge.

Using the app takes just a few minutes each day. Users are asked to identify their role at the college (student, employee, Sodexo employee) and confirm four basic statements:

  • I have not experienced any symptoms of COVID-19.
  • I have not tested positive for COVID-19.
  • I have not had close contact (six feet or less without a mask for more than 15 minutes) with a confirmed COVID-19 case.
  • I have not traveled outside New York to one of the states listed on the NYS travel advisory.

Helpful links are provided for details on COVID-19 symptoms and the NYS travel advisory.

The app was developed in-house by Paul Smith’s College staff. We are grateful to the Nassau BOCES technology team, who shared their source code and expertise to help make this possible.
