Chef Christian Hunter holds a culinary degree from Paul Smith’s College and is a founding partner of Atelier-Chicago

The Mercantile is a reimaged college bookstore with merchandise for students, visitors, and the community. Not only will textbooks be available for students along with Paul Smith's swag, such as t-shirts, keychains, and more-but a growing selection of Adirondack treasures, from balsam sachets to buffalo plaid shirts and blankets!

Filmed in summer 2022 on the college’s beautiful 14,000-acre campus, the episode “Man of the Mountain” takes viewers through the titular adventure and travel blogger’s swift transformation into a real Adirondacker.
