I had the amazing opportunity to work with Chef Victoria Breyette at the Chinese Pop Up dinner on Wednesday, Oct. 7. Students sampled several Chinese cuisines that we created in the lab in Cantwell. Options included a vegetable stir-fry with different Chinese noodles or tofu and various sauces. We encouraged students to donate money to support the Culinary Club’s future trips and activities.

Students learned about a new cuisine and tried some new foods in the process. It was a great opportunity for me to work in a fast-paced setting and to better acclimate myself to a real life situation.

We successfully funded the Culinary Club’s account and educated the public in the process. Be on the look out for another event. We can’t wait to feed the hungry masses!
