I hold the Certified Forester credential from the Society of American Foresters and am an active member of several professional and academic organizations. I serve as an appointed member of the Adirondack Local Government Review Board and of the New York State Climate Impacts Assessment Ecosystems Technical Working Group, and am a domain expert and advisor to Carbon13, a UK-based climate-focused startup accelerator. I am active in the community as a youth sports coach in the Town of Saranac, a volunteer on the Whiteface Mountain Host Patrol, and as the former Clerk and Treasurer of the Saranac Lake Quaker Meeting.
